Mohan Rana is the author of seven Hindi poetry collections which have been widely translated, notably in the bilingual chapbook 'Poems', which was released by Poetry Translation Centre London in 2011. Originally from Delhi in India, he has settled in Bath. He will be joined by another much travelled poet, East-Lothian-based poet Martin Bates, whose 2006 pamphlet ‘Exploding Cicadas’ (White Adder) was shortlisted for the Callum Macdonald Memorial Award. Traveling widely as an EFL teacher, Bates edited the anthology ‘Poetry as a Foreign Language’ (White Adder) in 1999.
